I’ve been remiss in posting here at Pajama Mama Living. I’ve been wanting to do a video blog, but can’t quite seem to get it together. The couple of videos I’ve done have had tech problems galore including poor sound, out of sync sound, and boring commentary on my part (which I guess isn’t a “tech” problem, but a problem none the less).

Its not really a good time to take on a new project such as learning about video blogging, as there is so much going on with all my other work. But I can’t really complain, because all this busyness is really exciting. Last week I was on my local news. Actually the story ran twice on Sunday and at least once on Monday. I saw my website stats increase a bit for a day and then on Tuesday they skyrocketed. I couldn’t figure out why. Would there be a two day delay from when the piece ran to seeing the results?  Then Mitch English of The Daily Buzz contacted me through Twitter about doing the show. Wow! Okay, I’ll do that! The producer explained how they’d run a clip of my local interview and such a positive response that they wanted to have me on the show. That explained the huge jump in my site stats. I’m thrilled and a bit terrified about being on the show. Its done live so I hope I don’t embarrass myself.

I’m also set to do a radio interview tomorrow (Monday) with WFNR from Blacksburg, VA. I’m not sure what to expect as I received a brief note about doing the show to which I agreed. I guess I just need to be prepared to answer anything.

Having all this media exposure is awesome! A little ol’ pajama mama like me from central Virginia on state and national radio and news shows. The only problem is that thes shows are on in the morning … before 9 am. For me, that’s early. And since I’m not a morning person, I need to make sure I get up in enough time to fully wake up. Its a sacrifice I don’t make for everyone, but will certianly make in this case.

Would you PLEASE post this link or pass this link along – you never know if you will know the talented writer who will win this home! There were two articles written up in local papers already – you can see them on: http://www.WinHawaiianHome.com and here: http://www.womenentrepreneur.com/2009/03/couple-find-unique-way-to-fund-bb.html and on http://empoweringmomblog.com/archives/479 (there are more!) We CANNOT be successful UNLESS people find out about this contest. You can win a free week at our http://www.CastleInHawaii.com (see the tell a friend link). Aloha and Mahalo. In a climate of bad news, foreclosure, economic downturn, recession and other ugly and depressing words that bombard us daily, an inspirational story based on either of these words will win this custom-built, never-lived-in Hawaii dream homefor $101. This concept deserves a look to inspire Americans. And for those in climates of FREEZING weather… well, the chance to live in paradise…?
AmeriCANS are coming up with creative ways to help ourselves (no bailout here), others (winner of the home) and our local schools (the beneficiaries of a substantial donation who are depending on our success.) There is a 1 in 6000 chance of success – better than ANY state lottery. Mahalo for helping us spread the word and a hui ho (til we meet in paradise). Sheri
