It allows people to do and say things they wouldn’t usually say and do, often because they know society would frown on it. Sometimes it can be very scary. For example, the mother who created a MySpace page to torment a teen that lived down the street.

But when I start to wonder about the state of the world, I come across a moving story that suggests all is not lost. This was sent to my daughter from my mother and its a must see!

Sometimes I don’t feel like I’m doing as well as I should. Or something happens to mess up my plans and I get discouraged. To try an combat those feelings, I think about people who had way less than I did, and yet achieved greater things. Usually I turn to quotes or books that tell of these great people, but Nicole Dean recently posted this video on her blog and I had to post it here too. Its a great reminder of how people can have failures but not be a failure.
